Let TG use the early going to to shape the team then expect more obvious things happen naturally. Say come November is when the dust will settle & we see it all take shape. The PP should be better defined then. Come Xmas we should expect to see the true future of what everything will mean & future core drive the team if progressing as hoped. It will all lead up to the TDL. Injuries will have hit by then & the influx of call ups further gain more experience for the post Sedin era.

TG has some real savvy & smarts that we have not seen here before.
The best coach we had in recent memory was AV who got the most out of his line-up healthy or not. TG is of that ilk IMO. I'm looking forward to him being the fox in the NHL.

Yup. JV has had 2 more pro seasons than BB but heh no worries.
I go back to let TG settle in & believe in him.
Everything goes from the top down & as the season wears on we will see some entertaining hockey. WD had the team work hard every night & so will TG except he is more dynamic & will get more out of players.

Last year he got a 3rd and a top prospect in what was a historically deep and talented draft class. This upcoming draft is much shallower and doesn't have anywhere near the talent of last year's draft class.
I have heard from several professionals that a 3rd from last year would be the equivalent of a late 1st to mid 2nd from this draft year. That being said the top 20 in this years class would all be top 5 to ten in last year's draft. Such a different type of draft with a much steeper fall off this time.
Don't be surprised if Vanek gets a mid round 2nd pick.
