Wow. On paper it's a mismatch but Tanner held his own eh. Good on Tanner. That will keep him in the NHL for another week.

Really?

You would think all that cocaine would thicken up his blood.

Between the drug and alcohol usage, it seems Kassian is balancing his health. Good to see.

The problem with Kass is that he looks like Ogie Oglethorpe, people expect Kass to play like him.

I just don't think Kassian is a fighter.

Yes, cocaine increases blood pressure which can increase bleeding.
No, raised blood alcohol levels don't thicken blood, rather they will thin blood and increase the bleeding.
Before i entered paramedicine, a long time ago, I took a 4 hour first aid course as a 14 year old (decades ago) were I learned that alcohol thins blood... 100 percent... no exceptions.

Almost... but so fundamentally wrong I'm not even going to mock you for it.

Alcohol doesn't thicken blood at all. There has been scientific proof that says 1 drink of alcohol a day can be used as a source of "good cholesterol" and can actually work as a blood thinner.

Burmistov. Can't remember the other one. When the radio mentioned yesterday that Jake was skating as the 13th I knew there might be a mild level of hysteria.

That's about where I'm at, but I'm ready to go full " Bo Horvat starting on the 4th line ", if he isnt in the lineup come Saturday.

I'm going to give him the benifit of the doubt and assume all his blood was in his arms and not his head when he made that post... I hope.

Jake is wasted not practicing every day, send him down at least so he can practice.

He's not even good enough to practice, FFS!

Send him down before he busts like Corrrado.

I am curious what Utica will look like this year. Might be a bit of a logjam with Chaput/Megna/Weircoch all being sent down. Will be interesting.

I wasnt previously aware of the 'development league' rule, so it will be a little more interesting to see how they use the vets against which prospects need/deserve the icetime

I feel like the season already started regardless of whether our first game is Saturday. I would hope they are not still trying to figure out their starting lineup.

Although it is fair to assume their schedule is a little bit different this year considering the China trip.

- belcherbd

They will be mixing the lines and rotating the players. Nothing static is what TG has said will be the norm. No one line has been kept together in practice or the pre-season. Though doubt TG would have JV here to be in the press box on a regular basis.
