They will be mixing the lines and rotating the players. Nothing static is what TG has said will be the norm. No one line has been kept together in practice or the pre-season. Though doubt TG would have JV here to be in the press box on a regular basis.

I'm aware of all the this and think it makes sense. I honestly don't care where Jake/Brock play as long as they are playing. The previous plan for Jake/Jared was asinine. These guys need to be playing every game in the NHL or send them to Utica to play. If they need to be sat to send a message do that in the AHL away from the spotlight.

The previous plan the AHL wasnt an option unfortunately, but I agree with your point for this time around. I dont think he has to play every game, but should be on pace for 65+ games, with 10-12 mins/per, if hes on the NHL roster, otherwise send him down

The problem with Kass is that he looks like Ogie Oglethorpe, people expect Kass to play like him.

I just don't think Kassian is a fighter.

Kassian has held his own vs some pretty tough guys. He lost that one to Glass for sure and I'm not even sure it was a punch that cut him...it looked like he got cut when his helmet was ripped off. hard to say

I wasnt previously aware of the 'development league' rule, so it will be a little more interesting to see how they use the vets against which prospects need/deserve the icetime

I believe the AHL although they r their own entity & farm teams for the NHL they don't want rosters full of retreads & over the hill vets. That would hardly make for entertaining hockey would it. A retirement B league would suck.
