It wasn't a bad trade because we got a serviceable Dman that can contribute right now.

it was stupid because a recently drafted, young prospect with potential (and a bad attitude by the sounds of it) was traded away for a Dman that is not needed right now.

Right now does not matter other than securing high draft picks and developing the poop out of them. So what if we have Gud patrolling the defensive core of a 29th place team?

That's why it was a stupid trade.

No that's 5x5 play & PK not contract deal. You were talking about PP and right shot. I was saying it mattered to TG and others who want D to play on natural side with how systems are designed.

I later said Tanev like deal. So if the raise from 3.5M to a 4.5M over 4 years with NTC would be okay for Guddy.
