Yes I know and he took some in pre-season as well. So paired with Granlund that could work given Granlund's deficiency there.

More so, like how Granlund can set up BB as RS and LE a good net front pick up the garbage presence for them. Wonder if TG tries it in practice he has a week.

As much as i like the Flames D its upfront where scoring depth is the problem. Lose Bartkowski.

Mony Johnny & Backlund r very good but after that not scary. Bennett is still too young & early into his development. As for Smith too hot n cold but better than last years goalchies but not enough.

They missed the chance to upgrade when they didn't take Bachman off waivers . Malcolm Subban is on waivers today he would be an upgrade even though he is a bust.

They have by far the worst goaltending tandem in the league. Utica is way better positioned with Demko and Bachman. The Flames should offer us Bennet for Garteig.
