#Isles practice lines today:
Lee-Tavares-Eberle
Ladd-Barzal-Bailey
Beau-Nelson-Ho-Sang/Chimera
Kulemin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

Seems like Chimera is going to be the odd-man out here.

Correct, 16 13 12, and 72 29 66 gives you better balance as far as d zone responsibilities go plus beau is a solid 2 way guy
- Upstate_isles

I don't really hold last season against Beauvillier because he was 19 years old and not put in a great situation to succeed but he was killed in possession stats last year.

CF%: 44.2 (8th worst among NHL forwards with 750+ EVS TOI)
CF% rel: - 4.2% (17th among NHL forwards with 750+ EVS TOI)
CA/60: 64.22 (3rd worst among NHL forwards with 750+ EVS TOI)
oZS%: 52.4%

I just do not see how you conclude he's a solid two-way guy when he bled shots against and was starting in the offensive zone more frequently then the defensive zone.

I'm guessing given that there's back-to-back, I think he will during the home opener

- ses111

I mean he literally said immediately after that they shuffled the pairings around.

Also, Pulock was putrid in the preseason, let's be honest here. Preseason is preseason and he still absolutely deserves a shot, but I'm not about to start calling for anyone's head if he starts the year on the third pairing or in the press box. He had every opportunity to grab his starting job by the balls and claim it as his own and he didn't.

If a player is claimed on waivers do they report to the AHL or NHL?

I would think the NHL. Kind of (frank)ed up if a team has to expose a guy to waivers to go down and a team can claim that person and send them to their farm team.

I'm actually not sure. I think it's the NHL too but I'm not totally positive. I tried a quick look in the CBA but then I remembered I don't have a god damn law degree. Go get Michigan Pete to take a gander.

edit: so there's this

I still rather show confidence in Pulock and play him with de Haan to start and you can make adjustments if needed. I like the idea of trusting the young kids after Cappy never gave them a shot.
