One of the leafs fans was in here the other day saying he looked good. So there's that too.

There's a part of me that thinks they should have just let him be the backup here, but at the same time I get what they're trying to do with Rochester so it makes sense that they want him there as the #1 again.

I am really hoping that being with ROR and Okposo jump starts Girgensons again. He grinds hard and plays full speed. There has never been doubt about that.

If I remember last year right.. I think he might have had the toughest luck on shots either getting miraculously saved, he might have missed, or just the puck hits a blade or divet in the ice but he was int he right position.

I really hope that Samson also gets some changes to still play the wing in the top 6 in certain scoring situations and PP. I don't want his minutes that heavily reduced if we don't roll the lines somewhat close to equal. His scoring upside deserves better than that.

A team that hasn't won a cup has 5 number retired...the only 2 that should be IMO is 11 and 39, MAYBE 16 as well he is a HOFer after all

Wasn't it JB that said that he wants Rochester to be a winning team so that all of these kids growing up get used to the culture and the mentality of it? I'm not surprised at all that we sent some of our better prospects down there for it.

I think it could, because he's a former captain too, but I think they have to make the playoffs this year, and make a run next year. I think we only missed the playoffs with him 1 year
