Hyman's hard work results in a goal, you don't say.

I didn't leave my country because I couldn't get into a school like Oxford..... and speaking of Bovine you went to Alberta to become a DR.
- jribout

Honestly, I never even applied to Oxford or Cambridge. I grew up in the countryside and that much hoity-toity bullpoop would be too much - I interviewed at Durham and (frank)ing hated it

That's what I lived at Leeds - I was greeted by a prof who looked like Richard Hammond and introduced himself by he first name; much my kind of place

As for bovine, I was lucky to be in AB and had a chance to work for a new Prof who did my kind of poop. Plus I'm coming back to ON soon...

Wether it be Leivo or someone else, given the depth of our prospects, we will lose someone for next to nothing that will score 20+ goals elsewhere. The result being multiple years of insufferable "told you so's" by some of the least knowledgeable on here.

That's not Harvard level critical thinking...

But I know that feeling. I chose to work at Davis over Berkeley and ended up (frank)ing despising my research group... Womp womp!

And yes, steak is wonderful!

With Dermott and the two new Swedes going for a third pairing slot, Marincin is so gone.
- The Shrike

If Andersen becomes Ander7en when he sucks (which thankfully isn't often)... what does Marincin become?

Actually, I've skied in Cortina, its just east of Merano. Super place - would be great to do a family ski trip this winter. It's an expert ski resort for sure though.
- winsix

Cortina nice for sure... better skiing in Val Gardena... leading into Cortina. World Cup stuff held there every year...

PS I lived in central europe for about 5 1/2 years... skied everywhere.

It's looking like aaltonen is going to steal the 4th line from Moore.
- burn

I said a few days back... I understood the Hainsey signing, the Marleau signing. I don't and likely never will understand the Moore signing.

Colin Greening could easily step in a be an improvement over Ben Smith. And there's the Goat. No offense to Moore he brings nothing.

Not huge on organized tours but China would be cool.

I'd love to catch a flight/hotel to Shanghai and then just try to figure it out from there.

- TheMussel

China specifically seems like a place I'd want to do the guided tour. I can count on speaking enough of a mishmash of languages to get around Europe without much difficulty, but I'd be completely out of my element in China.
