Trying to rid myself of a well-earned hangover - so sipping a little bit of the hair of the dog. Frank you - I ran a marathon six days ago, so don't judge me.

Anyhoo, sensitive guy next to me was hitting on our bartender. His game reminded me of Marancin.

He was happy to give her life advice with a heaping side of empathy. But he was doing it wearing a Metallica concert shirt. Dude was easily in his 30s.

He just left without making a move.

True but few Islands have quality drinking water and low crime rate. One of the problems with being wealthier than the average Joe on a Caribbean Island is that you have a giant target on your back. The drinking water issue in cheap vacation spots like the Dominican or Cuba or Mexico giving visitors the green sh!ts for weeks, ruins any positives about saving money for me.

they are all amazing places to relax.

You would not want to purchase land in a Communist Country anyway.. So many amazing islands in the Caribbean.

Barbados is the only island I've been to. Beautiful place, food off resort is amazing. Blackened King Fish, rice+beans, hot sauce and $1.00 American beers.

Cruise to Bermuda, leaves on the 7th of Oct. Our first time to this island. Looking forward to the time off.

Barbados is the only island I've been to. Beautiful place, food off resort is amazing. Blackened King Fish, rice+beans, hot sauce and $1.00 American beers.

Most of them do not wash fruits and salads with bottled water. Stayed at a 6 star resort once in the Dominican on the recommendation of a friend. Entire family was sick for weeks (I was sick for months). The resort was at that time the most exclusive and expensive on the Island. In addition, we were told not to leave the resort for safety reasons.

I actually like Barbados alot, one of the few islands in the Caribbean with really clean water. Cruise ships stop there to load up on water. Safe as well, a bit of a longer flight because it is the eastern most Island but worth it.

Ya, they want you to stay there and spend your money. Not been to the DM or Cuba, Cruise ships don't stop there. Been to a lot of the others.

Travel off the resorts like anywhere else, use your head. Don't put yourself in dumb situations.

Take a sweater, Bermuda is not the Caribbean - it is actually west of South Carolina - north of northern Florida. Great place - but don't expect it to be really hot weather.
