I've been in a few different arenas that are on the smaller side over the years. Overall, none of them are what I'd call spectacular. Most of the ones I've been in aren't too different from Rochester in terms of the overall look. But I think the overall setup in Rochester works better.

For the most part, especially for an AHL or smaller market, all I ask for is a chair that doesn't look older than I am, reasonably priced decent food/drink selection, parking that doesn't put me broke, and a team that's entertaining.

The rest of it doesn't really matter to me at the end of the day. I'm there to watch the game. Probably have a bite to eat and a drink. That's about it. I don't need it to feel like the Taj Mahal.

Maybe i'm being a little tough, but the overall ambience beyond the main entry is just depressing. Bad lighting and dingy surfaces. I have no idea if the bones are good or what the status of the mechanical/electrical/plumbing/fire systems are, but it all looks pretty old. Going to get a beer and watching the game on a 15" sdtv stuck 10 feet in the air is not great. I imagine they'll end up saving it, but without knowing the actual assessment of the building, i wonder if there's much in the way of savings to remodel instead of rebuild. And what's with the religious fanatics protesting sports outside? anyone else ever see them?

The best barns are the ones that are actual barns.

Nothing quite like being in a building with a natural ice surface where it's -25 inside, everyone is standing on the "bleachers" and you're in constant danger of being hit by a puck.

No deep threat (Your QB's strength)
Bad play calling/route running
Not the most accurate passer

recipe for disaster

- Stripes77

I think they need to just go out and chuck it for an entire game.

Throw 3 picks, who cares? Show teams you will at least try and go downfield and hope that it opens the run game a little

I've noticed them. I don't pay too much attention to what exactly they're yelling at me other than the fact that it's some sort of religious gibberish.

I don't forsee the city of Rochester coming up with the cash to do a rebuild, so a renovation is probably all we're gonna get, which honestly is fine by me. It's AHL hockey.

Yes, the Harbor Center has lesser games played at it and looks more polished (the ceiling in the rink the Prospect tournament games were in is awesome). But let me tell you, those benches are NOT comfortable to sit on for a whole game. I'd rather the rest of the arena have a worse look to it and have a seat that doesn't make me feel like I busted my tailbone the next day.

He's been a disaster in SF the first two weeks.

Dropped two that could have been TD's

- sbroads24

I haven't watched any of their games

I am surprised he isn't hurt yet

Just knowing there is someone who can stretch the field to keep the CB's honest is a huge advantage

Obviously I don't care that he is gone, just need someone that can do it

I agree

Let him throw 35-40 times and see what happens

The results aren't going to be great I don't think with how bad the WR's are but hey make it exciting

How could you leave out the O Line? They were awful. Not sure if anyone other than me noticed or I missed Glenn going off, but Dawkins finished the game at LT. Von Miller is licking his chops. He'll be coming from the right side of the line and Mills is a turn style.

McD's timeout decisions, especially calling a timeout to save 7 seconds on the play clock when Lina was kicking a chip shot fg to make it 9-3 were head scratching, but hopefully he can get better at time management during crunch time. At least he had timeouts available at the end of the halves and that is at least an improvement from Rex. What I couldn't stand is him pointing to his head and clapping profusely after calling timeouts like it was the most heady decision in the history of football. He looked like a dumbass.

Other than that, how long will we have to deal with Rico being the OC? He effin blows. Won't matter what young buck we get in the draft in his system.

Dawkins did alright

The front 7 of the Panthers is probably the best front 7 in football

But man the play calling was bad...

The problem here is they don't have a WR on the team that can be a deep threat.

Hell if they still had Goodwin he would be the guy

Wegman's canned white albacore is good but expensive (like 3 bucks a can). If you're getting the $.79 chicken of the sea in oil, yeah that's gross.

Any tuna in oil is gross. If you're gonna get canned tuna, you have to get the tuna in water.

The Broncos will probably employ the same system they used to beat the Cowboys this week. Load the box and let your corners play Man against the bills receivers. Tyrod will have to throw for 250+ in order for the Bills to win sunday.

At least for the Bills it will be the first time this season the Broncos are travelling to play on the road and Dennison knows a lot of the Broncos tendencies from his time coaching there.

So Demers cost a 17 point player
Scandella + Pommer cost two bottom 6 players
Beaulieu cost a 3rd.

Can someone remind me why Gorges, Kulikov and Bogo cost so much more?

Bogo, yes, because wpg wanted that salary gone as a condition of getting kane.

Gorges absolutely not

Murray never liked Pysyk it seemed, so to him that was a low price

DLO was a second too, unless you consider him as a throw in and the deal was really 2 seconds for Fasching, which is honestly probably worse

Well the Wild trade was based on potential of Ennis returning to form as well as us relieving their cap issues. But yea the Demers trade is a head scratcher.
