Forgot about McGinn, that trade looks better and better for us.
- Sabres1523

I'd take McGinn over Pouliot every day of the week.

First scare of NYR camp. Kreider loses edge in skating drill, bails hard into boards. Tries to give it a go, struggles, winces, leaves ice.

I have more faith in this tandem bike than the previous one.

Compher and a 2nd for ROR and McGinn (who we flipped for a 3rd I believe as well I know there were some conditions with it)
- Stripes77

McGinn turned into Vesey. So nothing

McGinn makes a lot more, and was a healthy scratch at times for Arizona

Depends on where Girgs is to be honest. If he manages to stay with ROR and Okposo through camp, then Larsson slots in as the #3 probably.

Guess it depends on what they do with Sam as well though.

Yeah Reinhart throws it off, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes to play him at center. I'd put Jack with Baptiste and Kane, Reinhart with Pouliot and Pominville and Girgs or Bailey with ROR and Okposo

McGinn was terrible in Arizona last year, Moulson had 15 more points than McGinn. That being said Pouliot was also terrible last year, but we dodged a bullet not extending McGinn

Girgensons falls as often as any player in the NHL.

The Jags are going to surprise a lot of people this year

I would make them my Super Bowl wildcard pick if they had a good QB

- GERBE!!!75PTS

they probably have a top 5 d if they stay healthy

McGinn had a good year with us the same way Moulson had 30-some odd points last year: he was the beneficiary of a terrific powerplay

I don't actually hate this.

Could end up Girgs with ROR/Okposo, Bailey with Eichel/Kane, and Baptiste in Rochester as well.

I don't think both Bailey and Baptiste will be on the roster opening night. It'll probably only be one. And I think Bailey has a bit of an edge on Baptiste right now.

If one of them is playing with Jack, I'd like it to be Baptiste because he has the better hands. His goal in one of the last games with the Sabres last year was unreal. I don't think Bailey has the same scoring upside, but if it's a bottom six spot, yeah Bailey would make more sense because of his size. I guess we'll have to wait and see

Hopefully more of this:

Both have a great set of wheels. I'm not sure which one technically has better hands. Baptiste does have the added bonus of having gotten playing time with McDavid in Jr so he's got experience playing with a high skill player like Jack.
