Highly doubtful, unless you're prepared to move Pulock+ for Barrie
Joe Sakic is so demented and oblivious to the world that I wouldn't even waste my breath if I were Snow.
I think the team you see is the team you get, unless Snow pulls a second line center out of his ass in the next few weeks.

He did good job of not just dumping Duchene for cheap, but this is quickly approaching absurdity.
The fact that he thought that asking for Ekholm AND something else from NSH tells me all I need to know about how seated in reality Sakic is about Duchene's worth. I understand trying to get the best price you can, but he's way out-kicking his coverage on this one. CBJ are the only team left that have both the pieces and the willingness to deal with him at this point. NSH isn't trading any top-4 defenseman with Ellis out for half the year. Habs want him but they already dealt away their best defenseman and best defenseman prospect. Isles are obviously out, having moved Hamonic.
If Jarmo was smart he'd tell Joe that Murray and some other pieces are the offer...take it or Duchene can start the year with Colorado, which is something he clearly looks thrilled to do:

Personally we need to move on from Duchense. We are not going to get him and at this point I dont even really want him. To much drama around the clown. He is Colorado problem

OK, but is the drama of Duchene's making? Or is the drama due to one of the few GMs that make Snow look halfway decent by comparison? Also, what has Duchene done to deserve being called a "clown"?

I dont know to me your a professional hockey player., There are hundreds of guys out there who would do anything to make it to the NHL. Just shut up and play and be happy you are here. Everyone knows how you feel so just go out there be happy do your best. He wants to be traded we get it but your not so enjoy it

OK, maybe I missed something, but I had the impression that Sakic started shopping him last season, and not quietly. So it was Sakic basically letting him know that he was not really wanted on the team any longer. I did not hear that Duchene said anything, so I'm not sure what there is for him to "shut up" about.
It's only human to be a little unhappy if you're somewhere you're not wanted.

Way past time to move on from Duchene. I also do not see any sort of impact move now. Have to think we see something if the team gets off to a slow start. Garth might trade every prospect he has.
