Leino was signed when he was 28 years old. That's not remotely the same as Eichel at 20.

Kane was the only player over a PPG 2 years ago and he got a 10 mil contract. Eichel was like .94 PPG last year at a tougher position and that's allowing for some inflation in a stagnating cap market. I don't think it's unreasonable to think 10m is close to market value
