He's not that bad...his hands are tied in so many different ways there is only so much he can do. It gets way overblown on here.

Yes.
He has friends still playing on the team and they keep trying to be 'competitive'.
He frequently contradicts the GM or coach, usually on the same day, often within hours.

I just don't want them extended. Even for 1 more season. It is time to move on.
I think it's only Vantel who truly hates them, at least that's the impression I get when he posts about them every single day for years.

they need to be traded at the deadline to separate teams if they are having productive seasons... then sign them in the off season so they can retire Canucks after playing 1 final home game... hire them to work with the conditioning coach or player development or as team ambassadors, not management...

the least we can get are deadline assets this season to help the renaissance...

Good read. Just because I want them to retire after this season doesn't mean I'll forget about all the years they carried this team's offense and how they made opponents look silly. They also donated a large amount of money after signing new contracts a few years ago. Class acts

There's no question they've earned it. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to move on, but I look forward to seeing 22/33 hanging from the rafters as they are true class.

It's funny how twitchy some people get... if they get 40 to 50 points and resign for league minimum one year deals with dual NMCes all that we'll hear is how they've handcuffed us with the no movement clauses.
