Makes sense waiting 1-2yrs for him to get into our line-up 👍 |

After setting up, tryout player Johnny Corneil takes the shot, which is deflected into the crowd.

A long sequence without a whistle ends in a Calgary goal, as Brett Pollock drives the net.
Lind went to the bench checking his mouth for blood during that sequence, and Brett McKenzie is now looking rough after being driven into the end boards.
Calgary's winning the physical battle, too. - Carol Schram
Canucks need to take a long look at White

Why the hell was dip pulled?!?! |

With 7:11 to play, Calgary just got an empty-net goal to go up 6-2.
Did the Canucks pull DiPietro to try to go 6-on-4 on the PP? I didn't see what happened. |

Well then, Trent Cull is certainly cut from bolder cloth than our old pal Willie!

The talk of him making the team was always overly optimistic/premature. He didn't even dominate in the OHL last year. |

Yeah, for 19 year old dmen to make the NHL, they really have to impress. I still don't think he's going at 100% out there(same with Brock) since both will be at main camp but I'd be surprised if OJ made the cut this year, even for a 9 game regular season taste. |

Shots are 34-26 with 14 seconds to play in the third.
I'd agree, LaPlante is the only Canucks player that really stood out.
I liked Foo and Fischer for Calgary, and Hunter Smith was certainly noticeable.

Should open some Canucks fans eyes about comparing OJ to Tanev, stylistically. OJ isn't a true shutdown dman, he's more of an all around guy and a lot of Knights fans even say they see him as more offensive than defensive even though he doesn't rush the puck up the ice much or have a big shot.
I guess the best way to describe him is a patient/cerebral offensive dman |
