Their D does look solid but they have issues on offence especially with RB. Plus their schedule is a bit tougher than last year. I have them maybe at 9-7 but with this schedule they could easily be 7-9.

Plus the goof Michael Bennett distraction will not help the clubhouse...that clown needs to f**cking grow up.

Horvat got to play with Sven and whoever Willy deemed unfit on the 1st line with the Sedins for that given game (Or Boeser for 9).

Wennberg definitely has comparable numbers, but give Bo the opportunity that Wennberg has had in CBJ, and Horvat's 600k makes a bit more sense

Well sportscentre should learn to just STFU. Hes being overpaid compared to his closets peers.

I find it very funny. Most people in Vancouver figured it would be 4.8 to 6 mil. It comes in at 5.5 I don't understand why anyone would be shocked or surprised.

Numbers are quantifiable, opportunity/stature/leadership/etc are not, so I understand those who wish he was lower, but its ridiculous IMO to complain about overpayments under $1m

This is why we all figured he would come in around this number. When the discussion first started, I think $5.5 was the max in ranges being thrown out. And then McJesus broke the salary ceiling, Kuznetsov/Drouin/Zibanejad/Neiderriter/etc. signed after, raising expectations.

I dont really like paying extra for "captain" status, but there was no way after 3 years and being at the lowpoint of a rebuild, Bo was going to hometown discount. Silly to think he wasnt going to get a little extra for potential
