Well history would indicate that he scores 40 plus points. He should be our second best player. We suck - CanuckDon

Our first meeting he told us we weren’t good enough last year,” smiled Daniel “We appreciated that. We’ve had those coaches through the years – Crawford, Tortorella, AV was that way too. So we’re used to that. I like that.
No mention of WD. Ouch. - manvanfan
Willie is the worst coach this franchise has ever had in my opinion |

Torts - dbot
Agreed. I don't care what he has done in Columbus, he was a joke here. WD isn't even bottom 3. |

Probably to give Bo vet support to outplay twins as a line. |

It's amazing to me that any one would consider hiring him after that. He was like a cartoon character. He was like Mr. Burns coaching a team to lose on purpose. The only upside was no sideburns that year. |

Torts definitely most disliked and overrated. But WD is on par with least capable. |

If we are taking JB at his word (which i don't really tbh), then it's good to hear that he'll make a spot on the team if any youngins force his hand, like he did with Stetcher last year.
I too am looking forward to seeing Brock and JV at training camp.
I'd like to see some fisticuffs during training - dbot
Stecher was sent down even though he had a great camp, the only reason he got a call-up was because both Tanev and Edler got hurt. Benning is a lying POS. |

Benning can't lie. He has trouble evaluating talent as soon as its part of his organization, but he can't lie. |

the kids should have to ride the busses in Utica for awhile. No free passes - CanuckDon
What a crock of poop, if any player can help your team be better, regardless of his age, then he belongs on the team, providing he's proven he belongs. Riding a bus for the sake of riding a bus is idiotic.
If you can help and you can handle physicality of the league, you play, simple as that.

It's pretty easy to prove you belong when there is no one else to play your position. If after training camp a kid gets sent down despite clearly outplaying a veteran then I'm right there with you. Until then, competition is a good thing. |
