The sh#tty thing is that the Sedins (as much as we all want them gone) are still producing at a pretty good clip. Considering the only 34yr + players to outscore them in the entire league, were Zetterberg and Vrbata. Hell, they even outdid Thornton and Marleau, and look at the god awful contracts those two were gifted this summer. That sh&t terrifies me. Who'd have to think JB would wait until the end of this year to consider resigning them. - Brooks_Light

Well Henrik outduelled Jumbo Joe but Marleau out scored Dank. Joe's contract being 1 year not so bad. Marleau's contract, well that poop makes me laugh. 46 points and 6.75 million? Lol so much for the benchmark 100k per point. After 32 it should be about 50k per point. |

I think I watched 10 games last year. Normally I watch all 82 but last year was painful to watch for sure - canucks1986
I watch every game I can. I'm a Canuck fan. The kids will be in the lineup soon enough. They'll get their games this year as well. Maybe not every game. But that's fine. Vanek will get a ton of opportunity to produce here. Didn;t cost us anything but money. Best case get another pick for him.
I'll always watch. I like Benning. Or, I certainly don't dislike him. Can't wait for the season to start. Even tho I'm expecting/wanting a bottom 5 finish. |

If I remember correctly the Sedins both said they were going to take things from now on year to year. I think a 1 year contract is in order soon. 4.85 each. If a one year contract bothers you guys we have issues. |

No why ? I don't read the threads anymore. Can't handle it until the season starts. |

Scooby_Doo (Scoobs) Scoring Categories (Skaters) changed from 'G,A,P,+/-,PIM,PPP,GWG,SOG' to 'G,A,+/-,PIM,PPP,SOG,HIT,BLK
You're adding hits and blocks? - LeftCoaster
A few of the stats were low scoring. Thought those categories would spice things up a bit. As per the score...

Hard to believe Vrbata put up 55pts on a 1mil contract on horrific Arizona team!! And it only earned him a 2.5mil deal.
IF the Sedins came back for the 2018-19 season - we're still gonna be terrible so its not the end of the world, but I'd much rather see them move on, slot Goldy, Dahlen into the lineup in their place and let them begin enjoying their retirement. Sedins got nothing left to prove, they had their shot, came really f&*King close. There are tons of greats that retire without a cup, they got nothing to hang their heads about. |

The only way I can see them coming back. They score 55 or more points. Or we dont have anyone to take their spots. |

He never even had one goal last season. Regardless of it saying he had one because he didn't actually score one. - thundachunk
I know, his a$$ scored - honestly, I'd be ecstatic if the kid never played in the NHL again. I don't normally dislike Canucks, but him and Dorsett drive me to the crack pipe. |

If they have a really good year they'll most certainly be extended a year |

Not many 27 year olds will be available via free agency, just saying. |

Why? Does extending two (not one) 38 year olds sound like a really smart thing to do? |
