BB looked like he belonged when he played games here last season. He is the player fans have been the most pumped about of all prospects until EP was drafted. Consider them playing together on same line

I would trade Baer and move Granlund to the Left and have BB on the Right. BB is more offensively gifted the Baer.

TSN 1040 is the worst. Unlistenable (if that's a word). They are more pessimistic about the team then the regulars of this blog and there's no surprise they are no longer the Canucks broadcast partner.

Ok but I think getting a playoff spot outside of a wild card is doing better than "well". In my books that would be a (frank)ing miracle.

To me doing well would represent the 19 to 23 spot in the draft and that would be a disaster. So I don't want this team to do well. Either exceed my wildest expectations or fail miserably.

They've been butt-hurt for a long time since Gillis was fired, ever since then they've gotten less and less access. Gilman and Gillis used to treat them like they were part of the PR staff of the team and the personalities got too used to that treatment and when Linden and Benning came along, that all stopped.

While teams have sometimes wildly turned things around Usually you'd expect a team to make smaller leaps. So even getting 19-23 would be a step forward for the team. I guess it just depends how you choose to look at it ...is it 'a step forward' or 'lesser draft pick'?

We have a glut of players right now, which is nice.
Will be interesting to see how things shake down during pre-season.
Until then it's all just conjecture.

Injuries, determination and waiver eligibility will play big roles i suspect.
