it's no fun if you're going to be good natured about it. you need a leafs fan to guide you.

I can honestly say I have no idea what the guys at the top are doing. The fact it's one year is great but I really thought after the first flurry of signings the remaining spots would be left for younger guys to battle it out for.

Naslund almost signed as a free agent with the Avs..not sure what offseason that was but way back when. Avs beat writer Dater was telling a story about how they got the jump on a story of Naslund and forsberg flying back from Sweden to denver to finalize a deal but something happened in the 11th hour and he decided to stay in vancouver.

If they can flip him this is a great move
