You would think that having had Scotty coach them to cups it would have influenced Ken Holland and he would have moved Datsyuk and Zetterburg earlier for assets. I think there are a lot of GM that strike it rich on draft day and then the organizations forget to recycle . The Canucks are not the only ones guilty of this but cup rings deserve a bit more loyalty than game 7 losses.

Anyone who thinks some team is giving up anything of value at the TDL is fooling themselves, Florida gave up a third and dumped a contract at the deadline last year but Detroit ate 50% of his remains salary.....he scored two goals in 20 games with the Panthers.
