I think people will look at the World Cup differently when McDavid and Crosby play together against Mathews and Eichel

Get rid of Team Europe .

Will the camp roster be set with team sent to China? Will those left for split squad games back in NA have a chance to crack the opening season line up?

On JV : he does not want to be a one dimensional player that bangs. He wants to be a difference maker ( his words) . He wants to play on the top lines. He has took skating lessons and skill lessons. He has become lighter. Now it is wait and see.

Hockey is growing in Asia. The Philippines just won the South East asia cup over Thailand and most of the team has spent time in Canada. The same interest is growing in China

You need to separate your hate for Benning from evaluating players. Is Dorsett an NHL player? I think he is. Do you?

I do separate it. He used to be a really solid 4th liner, but he's sucked since 2015. Hopefully be bounces back.

Your original post had nothing to do with him as a hockey player, no one is afraid of Dorsett.

Last year? Sure, but even the year before his play was pretty bad for a guy getting 12+ mins per night. I was a definitely a fan of his during his first year here so if he can return to that level of play then I'll be a fan of his again.

You guys can't have a "what have you done for me lately" attitude with only certain players and conveniently overlook a bad season or 2 from your fav players.

When did the injury happen . The guy was constantly dropping them even when injured. I will cheer for him. I like DD

We haven't seen him for a while. Lets see how he is when healthy

Last season. Again, yeah he's a warrior and brings energy/heart but he needs to perform like he did during his 1st year here and not like his 2nd year or he can be replaced with someone younger/cheaper/bigger.

Disagree. Lots of players are afraid of Dorsett. Are the one dimensional goons? No. Are the "Matt Cooks" of the league? (frank) yes. He doesn't need to be a heavy weight to be a deterrent. He is tough as (frank)

Nucker has pointed out how lean the guys are looking in the pics at practice. Maybe more speed is their need to survive in new NHL. For a player like DD his slimming might be trying be faster to play TG pressure game. He probably knows he can't be a physical factor.

It will help the rebuild if this kid can find his footing this season. It would be nice to have him shove it into the naysayer's faces.

I agree with you on not wanting a soft team, but cmon, Dorsett doesnt send messages or intimidate anyone. If say dorsett was on the ice when Stecher got jumped by Martin, and dorsett jumped in he woulda got pumbled. Yes dorsett is good defensively, there are just better/cheaper options available then him.

Sorry, just don't agree. Little pit bulls like Dorsett are pretty intimidating. I'd love to see Nucker call Dorsett a wussy . He stands up for his teams and that's intimidating. You don't have to be Gudbransons size to deter a punk like Marchand
