Cups matter... idiot. They have had arguably the best goaltender in the league for 10 years. They have given up all their prospects, picks, and future to win the cup. they have not won sht and you dopes crown them as the class of the league.

Penguins, hawks, Kings,... these are teams run well that have had success. The Rangers have not won a friggin thing.

we have been in the playoffs 3 of the last 4 years. Made the second round a year ago and missed by one point last year. Anyone Care? No... win cups. Even Boston could be considered Run better than the Rangers even though they traded everyone away.

I am still waiting for you guys to Rank where the Rangers fall in regards to the Roster and program I would want instead of the Islanders. Where do you put these "Always contenders"? You seem to NOT realize this team gave away EVERYTHING 5 years ago to win it all.. and failed. They are not a Better team now.. they are getting worse every year.

Listen, if you want to bury your head in the sand and think the Isles as an organization is utopian, then so be it. That's your choice. But you can't sit there and repeat the same stat about making the playoffs over & over and think that makes it better. Which by the way you're incorrect about. They've made the playoffs 3 out of the last 5 years, not 4. By contrast, the Rags made the playoffs all 5 years. Losing in the SC final once, and only losing in the first round once. When I talk about the Isles organization being a circus, I'm talking about all that goes on. The 3 goalies, not bringing Halak back up, the arena situation, failing to bring in a winger for JT, etc. No other NHL team has that much drama surrounding it. NOBODY. Are the Rags on a downward trend? More than likely. But they went for it. They did what they thought was right and tried to win a cup. They are a destination for high-end free agents. Players want to play there. Snow has to overpay to get UFA's to play there.
Here's another stat for you. Since the 93-94 season (the year they won it), they've made the playoffs 14 times. Only losing in the 1st round 4 times. Multiple conference finals. That's considered being always a contender.
During that same time period, the Isles made the playoffs 7 times. Only advancing to the 2nd round once.
Just to be clear, I never said they were the best, or one of the best, run teams in the league. Only that they're better run than the Isles.
I'm not sure if your intent is to come in here and drum up responses, like Tanner, but just understand something. The organization has been a joke for 20 years. These new owners are not doing any better. They spoke about accountability and doing whatever it takes to win. We've seen nothing from them. Zero. Until Snow is removed and a qualified GM put in place, that's the way it's going to stay, sadly. I do hope this team does well. I'm a bit anxious to see how Weight & his new staff do. What changes they're going to make. What new systems they'll employ. Curious to see how the lines shake out. See how Ebelre plays with JT. I want to see this team win. I'm just calling it the way I see it.

Exactly it all depends who he is playing with. Sorry I am still not convinced about Josh Bailey. One year does not mean nothing. He has to be consistent. If JHS is playing with him then I dont know if he is going to produce well

You can't. If you are a real Isles fan, the Rangers are the worst team in the league. All their current players suck, and all their players they traded where phenoms.
