Briere lived up to the playoff hype he set by the two playoff appearances prior in Buffalo. This is all that matters. In fact, Briere might have carried us to the 2010 final.
- SuperSchennBros

Wouldn't say carried but definitely instrumental. Many key contributors to that run.

Briere
Richards
Giroux
Pronger
Leino
Kimmo
Hartnell
Gagne
Boucher
Leighton

As a whole, I would say Briere was the biggest part but the guys who impressed me most were the line of Briere, Hartnell and Leino. Leighton in goal. The first and second pairs of Pronger, Timonen, Coburn and Carle for logging huge minutes.

I don't wanna discount anyone because Giroux as a kid and the fact we had one of the best fourth lines in hockey helped. I would say Briere and our top four defensemen were huge.

Thought I would list my Flyers all time team. This is based more on preference and players I like and what would be a fun team to watch from players of all eras.
I tried to use mostly players who have played for three seasons or more and or thier contributions to that particular team. For example Peter Forsberg as great a player as he was I think of him more as a Colorado guy. Provorov I included because it's quite possible he will be one of the Flyers better Defensemen of all time.

1st Line
Center- Eric Lindros
Left Wing- John Leclair
Right Wing- Tim Kerr

2nd Line
Center- Bob Clarke
Left Wing- Bill Barber
Right Wing- Reggie Leach

3rd Line
Center- Claude Giroux
Left Wing- Brian Propp
Right Wing- Mark Recchi

4th Line
Center- Dave Poulin
Left Wing- Simon Gagne
Right Wing- Rick Tochett

Defensemen 1st Pair
Mark Howe
Chris Pronger

Defensemen 2nd Pair
Eric Desjardin
Brad McCrimmon

Defensemen 3rd Pair
Kimmo Timmonen
Ivan Provorov

Goalies
Bernie Parent
Pelle Lindbergh

The only reason I didn't put the LCB line first is that Lindros and company could have been dominate in any era. The size and strength of that line would wreak havoc. Just when you thought ok the second line we'll get a breather you have the LCB line all over you.
The third line using offense as a good defense.
The 4th line defensively responsible while scoring big goals.
On defense I picked favorites on who I know and watched. Not to disrespect Jim Watson.
Thanks for reading.

Raffl better be gone by 2020. Funny to see them hanging on to Laughton too.

Man I cant wait for camp to start..

I think my excitement for camp this year will only be surpassed by my excitement next year and the year after as we should be full on in the youth movement.

Drop the damn puck.

Yup, I have a feeling that you are going to see quite a bit of action over the next 2 episodes. You also have to keep in mind that this season is covering quite a bit of time and a lot of story lines. Considering all the pieces that are now in play, I think they have done a very good job. I fully expect at least one major character and a few major supporting characters to die in the next 2 episodes as well. Things are about to get real, LOL.

Loved Knuble - what really stuck out with me was in the season with the terrible face injury (just ask anyone at the Carnival that year who saw him) I was amazed he came back to finish the last couple games of the season with the team, Class act.
