I'm not sure why a large amount of Jets fans went mental trying to debate Matthews v Laine. The Jets fans should be (frank)ing stoked they got to move up enough to get an amazing sniper and leave it at that.

He was 11th last year in points per game. That is with high ankle sprain and just skated the other day for the first time without his ankle being wrapped. High ankle sprain is the worst injury to play through. He is also top three in the league scoring chance. number one in skating puck out of his own zone and second zone entry. With better team and coach and being healthy all year he will be top five in points.
