I like his blogs being straight-ahead report style about stuff going on with the Leafs. There's already enough troll wars on a Leafs thread, because it's the Leafs, it doesn't need a blogger who has more of an op/ed style, where you have people coming in to the thread just to argue constantly with a blogger who invites it.

Yeah, this is true. There's a lot of in-depth stuff, op-ed pieces (ad nauseum), etc., and a billion Twitter accounts, but Mike does a nice job of summing up what's happening in a quick blog.

Idk I think the devils could make a better offer for him in their bottom pairing and I think that if for whatever reason they can't trade for a dman? Then ya he definitely could be an option? ..the devil ya know senerio!

Here's what I've heard:

I've heard it was a D man whose played an average of 23.49 minutes/game over the last 3-7 seasons with his respective teams and is able to slot in on the PP and PK effectively as needed with above average shot suppression and puck possession. Not younger or faster than most of his peers, but just old enough to become a quiet, reliable leader in the room. Can comfortably play in the top 3 defensive lines; but best suited in the 3-5 D role
