I get that the Leafs will sign Brown at the start of season once they shuffle things around and put guys on LTIR, but I've been thinking...I know, not my strong suit.

If someone offer sheets brown right now and he accepted, we'd be (frank)ed. We simply don't have the space right now to match even if it was a fairly small offer (although if it's too small he probably wouldn't sign). I doubt he would agree to go elsewhere, but if someone did offer sheet him now and he accepted, we would have no chance of matching unless we made a trade within 7 days to get the necessary cap space to sign him. Kinda crazy.

Great point and cal can score a bit! Not that he's available but we would like to roll three scoring lines and a forth that can that can score! 30g would be nice! but agree a bit more push from the fourth with size!
