Here's what I've heard:

I've heard it was a D man whose played an average of 23.49 minutes/game over the last 3-7 seasons with his respective teams and is able to slot in on the PP and PK effectively as needed with above average shot suppression and puck possession. Not younger or faster than most of his peers, but just old enough to become a quiet, reliable leader in the room. Can comfortably play in the top 3 defensive lines; but best suited in the 3-5 D role

There was an article posted recently, I think it was on PPP, about how the Leafs can sign another UFA as well as resign Brown and still have cap space. But that stuff will need to wait until the day the season starts after all the other contracts have been shuffled around. Makes me wonder if we will see a signing disguised as a PTO during camp.
