TJ Oshie being strongly considered to replace Panarin and play with Kane. May have to take less money. #Blackhawks will sell chance to win - TommyHawk
Natural RW, not real fast, 30+, will want to get paid and/or want term, this sounds like a rumor the agent started, honestly. I have asked over and over whether they are actually interested in him. No one I know close to the team has heard it. Doesn't mean they aren't. But it just doesn't add up.
At least E. Kane and Neal are left wings. |

Oshie stuff is a smokescreen. If the goal is get younger, faster and more cost controlled, how in the world does signing Oshie make sense? Good player but numbers this year are inflated and will come back down to earth a little. He would cost a good amount and at 30 I would guess he wants longer term. I just dont see that being realistic at all. Could be wrong but thats my take. |

Hes chasing a Cup now. Didnt happen in STL, now not with WSH. A chance nonetheless. Must be a serious discussion if Strickland posts to his twitter about it as his third post in last three days. - Return of the Roar
Didn't Oshie play with Toews at ND? I doubt he signs here but maybe there is a connection. One would think he wants a payday and term on this contract. Not old enough to play at a discount for a Cup yet. |

Another dream scenario - lose AA and Krugs and Thornton/Marleau with Kaner..... |

FWIW-I do believe this a real possibilty. - Al
I hear Jumbo a lot (as speculation) and that is intriguing. Kane would score like 100 goals and Al or 6628 or I could line up at LW and probably get 20/20.
Not sure how they do the dollars.
And is it just me or does the next big add need to be another LW and/or an RD? |

Joe was my other "early prediction"
Size, good on faceoffs, very smart player (like Kane)...would fit like a glove there
You could put any rookie/young player there to learn the game |

AA and Krugs for picks/savings. Sign Jumbo, Wingels, Marleau done! |

Supposedly damage done to his knee was not as bad as once thought.

Anyone hear anything about Q storming out of a draft meeting this morning. Just a rumor I saw floating around. |

Thornton at 38 with knee surgeries is still a beast.
Would be an assist machine. |

If Thorton was willing to sign for Brad Richards money, I say go for it. But that's a big ask.
But man, wouldn't Schmaltz-Thorton-Kane look pretty good? Or Hartman-Thorton-Kane? |

Sometimes I think this stuff is blown up.
I don't doubt that he stormed out, but that kind of things happens in all jobs. People get fired up at my work and have disagreements. I certainly don't think Q is going to be fired or anything.
Probably was just fired up because he may not have agreed with some trades, disagreed and left to cool off.
Just my guess. |

Dunno about stormed off, but he did get up and leave in a cab, apparently.
@drosennhl
Joel QuenJoel Quenneville just walked out of the coach's meeting at the League's official Draft hotel, got in a cab and left. |

I find it highly difficult to believe he was not consulted on these moves.
If so, say hello to the next head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks: Kevin Dineen. |

I thought the rumor came out before the Saad deal - maybe he went to conference with Stan about it. |
