One budget team I see that can be interested is Carolina. They have tons of cap space (actually need to take in more cap to get to the floor) and a very good defense, but lack forward depth. If Vancouver retains 50% they can maybe trade both the Sedins for something like Haydn Fleury + a 3rd. Gives you a decent defensive prospect (which I'm sure you can use), and you can really tank.

Skinner - Rask - Lindholm
Aho - Sedin - Sedin
Teravainen - Staal - McGinn/Stempniak (who ever gets picked by LV)
Nordstrom - Ryan - Di Giuseppe

Gives them a legit shot. Just fantasizing here, got too much beer.

Glass is BPA right now. Plus Canucks need C more then anything. But Makar stands out as a D man. He's a player of special interest because of what he could become though there is more gamble there then Glass.

I think he has a good shot at being a 2nd line player. As a C being behind Vilardi(unless he busts) and Bo would give us an amazing 1-2-3 punch down the middle in the future. IF Vilardi busts he and Bo could handle the slack of top 2 until we get a legit 1c to replace. I see Bo is a future 1b. Not quite what you want for a 1st line center, but can be that role if your team needs it during the rebuild process.
