to me, if benning is looking to move up, then:
Tanev and 5ov
For
3ov, 29ov and an A prospect
is a really good deal for the nucks. - Tumbleweed

And the way I_See_It is the 3rd and 5th are close to being a wash, so Tanev is worth 29th and a prospect, not naming a prospect but a prospect that could not amount to anything.
And this is why Tanev will stay a Canuck, because it's not worth 2 possibilities for someone that has a proven skill set. |

probably costs 2 2nds to move up from 5 to 3. i think there is a lot of value for the nucks there.
and it's the proper structure for trade so that dallas doesn't get (frank)ed long-term. |

Honka is pretty damn good but I'd want at least something decent added to that deal since I don't value the jump from 5 to 3 that highly unless Patrick is there of course |

I already said the 5OA + Tanev for 3OA + 29OA + Prospect was the makings of a solid deal. A deal that is somewhat plausible. Obviously the prospect still needs to be established, but you can see that it's realistic. Tanev for the 3OA + "A" prospect simply is not... And that's fairly clear, wouldn't you agree?
As far as your "validation" comment goes, obviously nobody needs anything from anybody... But am I not allowed to disagree or even cut down COMPLETE bullpoop trades regardless of which blog they appear? Yes. Just like anyone can do the same for me and does from time to time.
Lightnen up, brother. We're all hockey fans here and we don't have to agree or even like each other.

So we want to trade down after tanking to get a high pick
Trade down after a two month debate about BPA
Extend the Sedins and Benning
And oh my lord we will lose Sbisa
Okay as you were |

You can play the victim card if you like, especially when you post inflammatory posts like this in the Leafs Blog and promptly need to tell Canuck fans that whether or not their valuation is garbage.
"The collective brain damage and delusion in the Nucks' thread surrounding Tanev's value is staggering.
It's as if they think the rest of the league wants to help fast track their rebuild and bail them out of the their problems by doing them favours.
Sad, but not surprising".
Go play your silly bugger games elsewhere, maybe you should head back to your thread to report on the brain damaged ref in the canucks thread
