Anyone of the top 8 minus Mittelstadt. If he is 201lbs and cant do a pull up and only one bench press of approx 180lbs then he's fat and not in the type of shape a future NHL'er should be. Good habits start young. He appears to be a kid that rests slowly on his skill.

If he was then he wouldn't have been able to do well or even get through the other tests like V2max. What he has is leg and bottom torso muscle weight for skating. He doesn't have pectoral strength for those tests as a kid at this point. Doesn't take away from his hockey ability. Of course with better programs in higher levels he'll improve his physical condition. I wouldn't over read those two areas as bad habits. Many hockey experts like Ferraro would tell you that.

I cant imagine the high school program is too good. I remember how the high school PE teachers were always fat and out of shape....there was 1 that had to have his veins scraped due to Atherosclerosis. Dont think that 1 would have even made 1 lap around the gym.
