Really disappointed they protected Sutter. This was a great chance to maybe get out of that contract. Plus id prefer to make their options between Sbisa and Sutter for cap purposes.

Great that you don't like the contract and all, but what do you think the cost would have been to have Vegas select Sutter? My guess is a 1st round pick, not only will Vegas be getting picks for not taking players, they will get picks/prospects for taking players with big cap hits.
We CAN NOT afford to be giving away picks at this stage of the transformation. Plus our cap situation is alright moving forward.
