Someone needs to tell me why Streit sits while Maatta and Ron fcking Hainsey are in?
- PhillyCheese

Is Ruhwedel healthy enough to play yet? If so, Sully needs to stop being so stubborn about Hainsey (or even put Streit in). The coach has made so many good decisions, but this obsession with Hainsey is baffling.

take it from a guy whos watched Streit play 100+ games over the past 2 seasons. You do not want him out there right now unless you only intend to put him on the PP
- bulet13

The only D man we have that I am near certain isn't hurt... is Hainsey, which is (frank)ing sad.
I'll take uninjured and fresh legs Streit and Ruhwedel over Maatta and Hainsey.

Sure, give us Hall with 1 mil retained. Shero is a dumbass
- Guile

Is that really the consensus on Shero in Pittsburgh? I've been largely impressed so far, despite an admittedly weak deadline

Do we call that soft? Like... there was MAYBE an extra centimeter gap for half a second to slip in for that goal?

Also #11, now tied for the most rookie goals in the postseason for a non Canadian.

Ruhwedel should be in the lineup for sure. Give me players that can skate against this team. Hags too.

seriously.

there were SO many passed up opportunites on the last pp, by both units.

rinne is clearly not locked in yet. you need to get it the (frank) on net every single opportunity.

Shero in regards to trades.... yes, terrible for us. Douglas Murray for two 2nd rounders... Iginla to play on his off wing... for a 1st and two prospects.

Shero drafting... his late round picks have paid off the last two years.

I think Rinne should win the Conn Smythe win or lose

Shero acted like he discovered and personally picked Malkin and Sid in the 6th round

In reality, he made a couple of nice trades but couldn't really build a team to get the Pens over the hump

And he was way way too loyal to that phony Disco Dan

He's also a heady goalie like Fleury, when he's hot is HOT, and when he's not it affects the whole team.

I'm tired of championing against headshots in the NHL. I'm just going to celebrate with the Neanderthals now and say "Nice headshot on Subban, Kunitz!!!"
