The Flyer should trade the #2 overall pick this year to get Kyle Turris. He's a top center and probably guarantees us the next 6 Stanley Cups.

Derek Stepan would be my second choice if The #2 isn't enough for Turris.

Our should-have-been-sniper-sk8ter-boi Bellows is leaving BU after his poop year to join Portland in the WHL. Him and Glass should be dynamite together. Still, it feels like he's outgrown that competition level, and the challenge of college hockey was what he needed. His usage wasn't great, but he showed needed areas of improvement if he's going to be the player he can be. Now he's just bolting instead of facing the challenge. He's likely not going to improve what needs improving in junior hockey. Probably jilted that his boy Clay-Clay left him too.

Do you think it is possible that he is what the team would deem "ready" after one season in the AHL?

I wouldn't protect AMac -- not because of hatred, just because I wouldn't protect a player who is likely not on Vegas' radar to be selected and even if he was, it doesn't cripple you

I would protect Stolarz, for exactly the reasons Feanor described. I don't know what he's gonna be, but the Flyers, to me, should keep him and find out

I'm shocked there's discussion about protecting amac. Protecting him would be a severely shortsighted view if we're talking about what he could bring to the team next year. If hexy was given the choice, I'd bet he'd terminate amac's deal today
