The biggest down fall of the Lavi era was his failure to handle the goalie situation.
The fact that they lost Pronger and Kimmo was starting to break down made it difficult to run his system.

Some coaches wear out faster. Keenan always had a short shelf life. Some of these guys are the right coach at the right time, to get the team over the hump. Some are better grooming a young team.
All of them get fired at some point. Some just move on their own.
Babcock could have stayed in Detroit, but now he is in Toronto. That was his choice.
Even in the real world, people change jobs all the time. It is not unusual. Just the nature of thee world.

Mason seems to run more hot and cold while Rinne seems more consistent.

If you're playing one big game and get to pick which one of those guys is going in net I'd think most folks are taking Rinne.

Mason has had his moments.....But Rinne at this point is simply a better goalie.

Not sure I would "dump" or trade Couturier.....there does appear to be a large # of forwards though. Of your list Couturier would easily bring the most and be the easiest to move.
