I've been a Canuck fan my whole life, I was born in the 60's, and I've never heard your version???
- LeftCoaster

Me neither, I remember video of Burke telling Waddell he was getting a hell of a player in Stephan but his plan all along was to get the twins.

I hear a lot of wacky stuff on here but Troy and Heftys evaluation/ projection of Horvat may claim the prize

Pshhh, when he graduates from using his "toe drag" more than his linemates, I might upgrade him to a 2C skillset.

Where did I say it was his fault? I simply said he's not helping.
- LeftCoaster

But he goes to the corners and the dirty areas?

The first few times he used that it was pretty sweet, then it just got repetitive.

I still like Boudrias as one of all time favourites.

Unfortunately, that's the first sign of an offensively limited player. Whether Don wants to put his pompoms down long enough to realize it or not, Bo's a guy who is VERY valuable as a 3C, and likely detrimental to the team and his top 6 linemates as a 2C. If we want to sacrifice his wingers' potential (and our salary cap) to put him in a spot he doesn't have the skillset for, prepare for a LONG "rebuild" (it'll never end).

I wouldnt limit him to a 3rd line center, he could be a second forsure, he does make his line mates better alot of the time, ex baertchi, dorsett, burrows, hansen. If he changed up from always doing the toe drag he could be pretty dangerous, just not top line yet.

Never top line. Not on a championship roster anyway. Any team choosing to employ that skillset in its top 6 will require a ton of luck to contend.

He'll probably be fine as a 2C, but he could become an elite 3C.

That's what I've been saying all along. Guys like Mittelstadt/Glass/Pettersson who we could draft at 5 are all 2C floors, 1C ceilings. They have dimensions Bo would need a miracle to develop at this point in his journey. He is what he is. It's not a diss ffs... Bo's elite for what he is. A championship piece. (What Benning wanted Sutter to be).

I am curios about three players this year from the Canucks. Goldobin Boeser and Granlund. I think anyone or all could be top players. I don't care about guys like Sven Boucher Megna .

I agree with what you are getting at about raising the bar for talent on this team. If players like Sven Hansen Chaput Burrows are our top 6 we are screwed

The fact that Glass got most of his points 5 on 5 is what sells me, and he still has room to grow. Unless hes picked before 5, there should be no reason not to get him

Green said he wanted skilled players with the Sedins, Boeser could make that line entertaining again! Aslong as hes on Horvats power play, Sweds never passed to him

Give me an elite 3C over a fine 2C any day. Then go find that elite 2C.
