Why couldn't he be on a good team where there aren't any centers better then him?

Although Bo has trended up and numbers appear like he could end up as 1C. Bo has yet to prove that he can consistently distribute the puck to teammates, has relied to much on power moves and has too many brain farts during defensive zone coverage.
Nothing wrong with his drive and determination, hockey IQ maybe an issue. Still a darn good player.

I like comparison from his coach...Ryan Johansen, he has been a beast this playoffs and since being traded to Nashville.

Bonino isn't an "elite" third line center

Horvat could be a great second line center under the right circumstances. He doesn't distribute the puck well but neither does Auston Matthew. Matthews is light years ahead of Horvat in the goal scoring department but if Bo can get some great wingers like Matthews his point totals would go up.

Louis Oosthuizen has such a sweet golf swing! Watching the player championship.

All good teams do have better centers than Horvat. There's only about six or eight really good teams in the league. If that. Followed by good teams, middle of the road teams and then teams like the Canucks Coyotes and Avalanche.
