Should be able find that elite 2C in this draft (say they're a few years away)... then next year the Sedins will finally (frank) off & we can go after a 1C with an offer sheet or in UFA & draft our franchise Dman or Winger. In 3 or 4 years we could have all of that in place & that's a pretty quick rebuild.

Unfortunately, that's the first sign of an offensively limited player. Whether Don wants to put his pompoms down long enough to realize it or not, Bo's a guy who is VERY valuable as a 3C, and likely detrimental to the team and his top 6 linemates as a 2C. If we want to sacrifice his wingers' potential (and our salary cap) to put him in a spot he doesn't have the skillset for, prepare for a LONG "rebuild" (it'll never end).

Bo isn't an elite #1 centre in the league. Yet. I believe he could be.

We have one million more in cap space than Dallas with one less player signed. Bo and Gudbrandson are RFAs and will probably chew up 9 mil of that 17 mil. So we are going to take on a 4.5 mil contract and sign 4 RFAs with the other 4 mil leaving us with 0 cap space for a bottom 3 team
