I never said he didn't have value, I said maybe a 6th rounder. I don't think he is worth much someone might give a 4th if they eat 50% of contract.
Haven't heard the word rubbish in a long time.

You guys do realize either one of ebs or rnh would lead your team in points next year ....have they slid down the oilers depth charts ...yeah ..but they are still skilled players who can produce ...they aren't the first players to struggle their first playoffs

Just read through the comments, and my take is everyone seems to overvalue their own players and devalue others.

I hate the Canucks therefore I don't watch any of their games. Tanev could be great but I'm not trading any of the top young guys from the leafs for him.

At the same point I believe you guys hate the leafs so you probably don't watch many games either.

Just seems like everyone looks at stats for their arguments and no one watches the games. It's just a fued between fans but it doesn't mean either team has players that either team would want in a trade.

The thing with Tanev is lots of teams would love to have him ...but the Canucks need a home run deal here and most are t willing to give up as much as the Canucks might want ...I'd love him on the flames ...but not for the asking price

He is looking to sign players with the skill of Europeans and the heart of North Americans.

Pretty hard for him to walk into the dressing room now.

he's like my Dad.

So Benning is over in Europe trying to sign Euros and he says they don't have heart. Good one Jim

No one ever accused him of being a dummy . Well maybe Lefty Belcher Golfing Nucker ASL Thunda Toronto media ,Vancouver media, butt buddies Taj and Tambir every poster on HB except Donna but nobody else

- VANTEL

I though he said he wanted Euros with heart. The ones he does talk to should be honored that he thinks they have heart.

I got no problem with RNH, Eberle might score 20 goals but cause 25 against with his poor back checking, board work, blown defensive coverage. Also a player scoring 20 goals on Edmonton, doesn't necessarily mean they will do the same on this team.

then we keep him. No- lose scenario with Tanev. Either we trade him for some good pieces, or we keep him because he's 26 and its pointless trading him.

I mean, they'd have more PP time so they'd probably score more

Yeah I can see your point ...maybe I was thinking them together ...rnh alone would still be good in van tho ...maybe ebs would be another Loui

Honestly I would trade him now ...his value will never be higher ...and his health is becoming a bit of an issue ...he's 26 now ...but could be over 30 by the time the Canucks are finished the rebuild

You just don't get it Red. RNH and his brutal contract aren't what this team needs. We are rebuilding and need to focus on draft picks and prospects in their D+1 or D+2 seasons. We don't need RNH or his salary. By the time we are relevant he will be a liability. (frank) it, I'm just going back to flagging

Canucks fans doing what they do.
Have outlandish expectations re Trade value and then get super disappointed when we get fair value IF a trade even occurs.

He just turned 24.
He's 2 years old than Bo.

How long is this rebuild forecasted to take my man?
