I don't think anyone would be in trouble. The only ones that will go are the ones trams can't afford to lose, and won't want to re-sign for more money than they already make. Bad contracts like Brown, Callahan will be safe as they will not be going to the Olympics. It could also be a benefit, if LE goes and we can terminate his contract

Yes you got a good point there. Also, Bolts and Panthers will have better seasons. Isles and Canes will press as well. Laffs were last team to make playoffs and came to last games. None of playoff teams expect for Bruins may fall off. Too much went right for their scoring players and health last season.

So it's a good bet they don't make it even with Tanev. Hope they are willing to give up their 2018 first too along with 2017.
