A star player having some input is okay. But to say he "should be pushing" is allowing the inmates to run the asylum. The owners are the ones that should've already pulled the plug on Snow, not the players. How does this organization always end up with poopty owners that have no grapes?

I agree the owners should know better and I do not want JT picking the new GM, but I have no issue if JT goes to the owners and tells them he thinks Garth needs to be replaced.

How do we know he didn't say that and the owners said poop up and know your role?

No way can I see Ledecky saying that to JT.

The problem is that I think he likes Snow & wants him there. I don't know what's actually been said, but, by all accounts, JT has come out publically to support him. Maybe he's very loyal to Snow. Maybe it's just public speak. Maybe he despises him behind closed doors. I don't know. I just know I won't spend a dime on this team until Snow is gone.

L & M don't have the stones to say anything like that. They came on board, blew sunshine up everyone's ass (talked about being accountable, etc.), then sat back and watched the train-wreck unfold right before their eyes and did absolutely nothing. They're a sham. They're gutless pukes. I said it at the beginning of last season that I didn't want to hear a word from them. I only wanted to see action from them. the only action we got from them was turtling when the ship started going down.

I agree I think JT wants Garth to stay. I want more leadership from JT on the ice and off. I want him getting on guys like Nelson and Bailey when they are soft. He can do it behind closed doors and not through the press. I want him to expect more from the owners, GM and coaches.

Personally, I just don't think that's his personality. I'm not saying he's a follower, but I don't think he's a passionate, vocal leader.

L&M are into the business model approach and want to keep adding value to the team with a new arena and a farm team and draft picks deep in talent. Biggest thing missing is consistent winning that draws fans, keeps fans, media coverage and national games. JT has become the senior man and knows he has to lead the new kids. Weight as coach makes them more of a forwards team and less a crash bang team. With teams like MINN and STL knocked out of po's they may be looking for gritty vets which makes Cal with yrs on his contract a trade target.

None the less, January forward was a winning record but we will see if they can replicate it come October or do they screw around with another screwed up season?

It does not seem to be his personality at all. I want vocal leaders as Captains. I do not buy into the best players needing to be captain.

JT: Bails, you need to start finishing your checks.

I must say at least JT does not try to avoid contact at all costs. Maybe Bailey can work on that first and we will move to him finishing checks.

C- is more than fair Dan. This seemed to be a make JT happy signing.

All of this make JT happy this team will never become a winning team. We need to do things to win not make players happy.

Been saying this all season. I don't give a rat's ass if the players are happy (to a certain degree. Can't have a team that absolutely hates playing for you). If I'm the owner, I'll give JT a little credence, but I'm not going to allow him or any other player to dictate who the GM, coach or other players are. What has to be done is what 's in the best interest of the team.

Owners should not even try to make the players or the fans happy. Focus on doing the right things to win and everything takes care of itself.

Winning is what makes the players and fans happy. Not placating to them. Like you said, when you win everything takes care of itself.

I don't think we can say this Clutterbuck deal was primarily to make JT happy. I really don't think any of these recent moves had the primary motive. Otherwise, Moulson, Martin, and Okposo would still be on the team if that were the case. Getting his 20+ points and killing PKs are what warranted the 700k raise. Do we expect to see him for that entire contract? Of course not, but it buys time for his replacement to be ready.

JT goes in the corners and usually wins those puck battles, he is also known to drive to the net hard with the puck, neither can be said of bailey

I've said the same thing many times about okposo and moulson but you will get the same response that jt apparently controls everything this team does and he doesnt. hes said countless times thats not his job, his job is on the ice. Now you get one of two responses, 1, he needs to tell the owners to fire snow and get guys here, 2, he must love snow and kept him here (frank) jt

Forget about Clutterbuck........can anyone explain to me how Snow is still the GM of this team. Can anyone make ANY argument as to why he's still in charge of this team?

Hopefully it's more than just the 2009 no.1 pick's job. I'm not giving Bailey or Nelson a pass because they were not drafted 1st overall.
