Just to cause inconvenience in your day. I hear Russ Brandon is behind the decision

I am 51 years old and I have been a Sabres and Bills fan my entire life. How many more years do I have to wait until:

1) either team makes the playoffs?
2) either team wins a playoff game/round?
3) either team wins a championship?

I can see it, Jack goes to hoist the Cup and the Jumbotron falls on him, crushing him instantly and destroying the cup. They rename the SCF, the "Eichel Bowl" in remembrance. Terry and Kim sell the team to Bon Jovi after he promises to move it to Toronto and make it the Leaf's farm team.

Been long time member but really never have posted. Longtime Sabres and Bills fan for over 30 years. Seen the good, seen the bad.

Couple of observations about Sabres and Bills.

Bills problem for the 17 years is simple, they have never successfully replaced Jim Kelly. Until they find a QB, they will be mediocre. Coaches, GM, draft picks etc.wont matter till they get the next Franchise QB.

Sabres I feel are headed in right direction. I liked GMTM, he was aggressive, I liked that! But I completely understand why he was fired, he did not win, and some of his aggressive decisions backfired. I can also see where his personality could rub some the wrong way, especially if I was his boss.

Disco Dan deserved to be fired, their was no consistency, and I believe he that was on him. You can blame the defense, and others, but I believe if some of the popular whipping boys are here next year you will see their games improve. We wHat from no structure with Nolan, to the complete opposite. He held down players.

I disagree. I think they should actually go in the opposite direction. Every team that misses the playoffs should have the same odds of greeting the top pick. Teams shouldn't be rewarded for failure, and I don't like the fact that teams that fight to the end get the short end of the stick. You shouldn't be punished for trying to make the playoffs.

The AVs didn't get screwed. The reward for tanking was they had the best odds and they couldn't go lower then 4th. They left with their guaranteed spot.
