Agree totally. Don't believe that there would be an empty seat in Quebec or even Saskatoon under similar situations. (frank) the Sens. - winsix

Un(frank)ingbelieveable. I jumped on a train for a 2.5 hour Amtrak ride to go and watch the Sharks vs the Preds last year, just so that I could watch some good hockey in person.... a five hour round trip to not even watch my own (frank)ing team.
They can take that excuse and shove it up their bandwagoning arses - lumlums
Having driven the GTA, Ottawa 417 and various ridiculous highways in Russia (Moscow...(frank)). I can tell you without a doubt that the drive to Kanata is perfectly reasonable. Leave my house at 5:50, 25 minutes of heavy traffic to get there (sometimes, it's usually not too bad at that time). Find my seat and ready to go. |

It would be amazing if the Leafs could get Ellis. Easily a number 2/3 D man.
They need center depth in the worst way. And a top LW.
Good news is that the Leafs have both in Bozak and JVR |

Nashville?
They have Johansen, Fisher and Wilson.... Hell even Forsberg has played centre in his life.
They don't need Bozak, and it'll take more than JVR to get Ellis. At 2.5M per year, he's a goddamn steal for them. |

Center is one of their strengths. |

Exactly. Even if I drove to the SAP it was a solid hour drive down the I80 towards the coast, and then an hour or so navigating the cluster(frank) of traffic down the East Bay...
...unless the Sens fans live in Kingston or Montreal, they've got no (frank)ing excuses |

Ellis would be a reasonable target. Asking price might be high, he's only 26 and has two more years at $2.5M per. Nashville will likely protect 4 d-men, and Ellis is the fourth so I think he stays in Nashville. Josh Manson - can't be protected - unless Bieksa accepts a trade, so he will likely be available to the highest bidder.

What exactly does that mean? Are you quantifying the level of douche that a player has? For example "bit of a douchey edge" = sandwich bag size douche or
maybe Brad Marchand = hot air balloon size douche. Do I have that right? - winsix
Id imagine youd want the biggest douche mechanism you could safely and efficiently operate on your own. |

Wilson isn't a center....sure he has played center before but he's not very good at it. He's playing the wing because of it.
Jarnkrok is their number 2 center right now.
Fisher is getting old.
And Ellis is going to get paid and there is no way they can fit Josi and Ellis both under the cap in a couple years...and either way their 4 top D won't survive the expansion draft. They have to trade one. Since they have Ekholm at 3.75 for 5 years.(that is a steal) Ellis may be the guy to trade to get more offence and depth. |

I get what you mean, but I don't see them getting rid of any of these 4 in the next year.
Nashville wants to win a cup, they'll need all 4 of these guys. |

If they don't trade him they lose one of Josi/Ellis to UFA and lose Wilson or Jarnkrok in free agency.
Yeah if I were them I would trade him for assets |

Doubt they trade for a top pairing guy like Josi, trading one of their three top rookies is not part of the plan. More likely, get a good young stay at home guy and if the price is right move on Shattenkirk - for whom they give up no assets - only cash. |

It would be pretty bad asset management on their part. This is their year to win the cup. the west is not getting any easier with Edmonton |
