If the Sens fluked a cup win would anyone even acknowledge that win in a few years? Kind of like the Hurricanes. I'm pretty sure everyone has already forgotten that they won a cup. It might as well have not even happened. |

Surprised they looked as good as they did yesterday. Not surprised at all about the Boston series. - Aetherial
Ya they looked fired-up....I think 41 shots. The King made the game close. Just a bunch of B level top six guys with an all-world dman and some good coaching. Who knew. |

When the Hurricanes won their cup, they finished in top 3 in the east and Eric Staal had just won the Art Ross.
Either way, every cup won counts. |

Pretty sure there are 3-4 non playoff teams with better rosters than the Sens lol. That's some all-world coaching right there. |

Are you fellas as dumbfounded as me as to how the Sens keep winning? But I like it - LeftCoaster
Nope. Good coach. God awful to watch. Non event hockey. East is terrible. Sens exactly where I'd thought they'd be.
More surprised about the Oilers. I like it. |

It is a marvel though. You look at their team... it's Anderson and Karlsson and a bag of chicken parts like you see at the Chinese Markets... beaks, hooves, and gizzards. |

It's a strange year. Out with the old, in with the new, all kinds of things are turning up... Sens are like that twoonie you find in the couch cushions, kinda cool for a second, then you realize how little you can do with it. |

Guy Boucher's History
Lost Conference Finals
Missed Playoffs
Fired
So, we'll likely see him back in Bern in 2 years |

To be fair, prior to this year he was. When I say that I don't mean he was horrible defensively but he was really prone to some Gardiner-esque gaffes and turnovers. He's really tightened up his game this year and been a damn force at both ends. |

l really hate the Sens, it was a toss up when they played the Bruins which team to root for, kind of reminded me of the recent US election. That said, Karlsson is hands down the best d-man in the league. |

Eugene Smellsh!t needs to give him a raise so he can afford some proper plastic surgery for that scar on his face that looks like a map of the US.

2000 empty seats for a playoff game with tickets at $50 each... (frank)ing disgraceful
They should forfeit the (frank)ing cup even if they do win enough games |

They wont make it that far.
Karlsson is pretty much their team...but I dont see him carrying them all the way to the finals. |
