The eye test tells me Hainsey is a big body who uses his body to separate the player from the puck. He is no offensive defenseman but he is a bigger body against a big team.

Yeah, no line up changes needed for this series. Unless something drastic happens, you stick with what's working

I don't know about that. This is pretty much the same defense that blew at doing so under Johnston if you consider Hainsey is pretty much Lovejoy.

But as you say, one series at a time. This is a fine strategy against CBJ.

It's total team defense. The forwards are getting in the shooting lanes and backchecking like crazy. It's how they won the cup.

Eh, I'd put in Hags once hes back over Kuhn. Rowney I think earned keeping his spot with the hits, something we need that extra oomph from, and Wilson has a lot more goal scoring ability than Kuhn. I just see as the odd man out if its him or the other two mentioned.

Rowney definitely does not play on as soon as Hagelin comes back. If Kunitz comes back, I honestly don't have a huge preference between Kuhnhackl and Wilson in a bubble, but when you consider line combinations, I think Wilson will be more needed.

Anyone have a YT stream for the game? I checked reddit and i can't get any of those to work. It would be much appreciated

Edit: Never mind I ended up finding a YT stream.

I didn't realize how good Rust was defensively until watching him live a few time. Same with Sheary and Guentzel. None are large bodies but all back check hard, have good sticks, and Sheary throws around his body on the forcheck like he's 6'0".

That goal by Guentzel was a veteran's snipe. How old is he again? 23?
