I remember the reason I came to this site the first time was because it was right around the trade deadline of 09' and my buddy mentioned some wild trade, which I couldn't believe to be real. He sent a link to Hockeybuzz, and the rest was history. The speculation might not be the most fruitful, but the fans that post were some of the most knowledgable.

Its hard to pass on Bill's blogs when you know that they are probably the most well thought out articles, when compared to other philly sports blogs/sites. Still one of the best places for Flyers news in my book.

i dont know what qualifies as a website hit or visit or whatever, so maybe not having an ignore button is actually good business as people constantly reload the page to go back and forth in arguments they swore off six pages ago

I don't get why you'd leave the solid hockey talk that takes place most of the time...in my opinion a lot of the people that have left has coincided with the downturn the team has taken over the past 5 years.

Agreed. You really get everything here in the comments. Great insights and pure comedy for a slow work day. Lurking on some back-and-forth arguments is enjoyable too.

That could be it too, but for me, one of the best things about this site is to find out how some of the prospects are progressing. Could never keep up with all of them on my own.

People who post here should want to enjoy themselves and not defend every post to the death. They don't want to be constantly told their opinions are wrong. It drives folks away. Good long time knowledgeable flyers fans.
