I know this is their "job". It's a job they love to do. Hell, I wish it was my job. I understand they want to play the game they love. However, I wish these guys would realize that perhaps the best play at this time is to rest and get ready for next year.

All these tournaments, World Cup, IIHF, the Olympics previously, it only extends their season and delays proper healing. Focus on the Flyers, they are the ones paying you the salary you get. Perhaps healthier hips and groins means less of an offseason in the end.

You can tell on here who listens to that podcast. I was reading things here yesterday that were just regurgitations of the things they were talking about on BSH radio on Monday.

I dont root for another team, but i sure as heck root against other teams.

I don't see them doing anything in the offseason. Wouldn't surprise me if they choose to go with Neuvirth/Stolarz combo.

I would be rather surprised if that is the combination. I don't think there is enough confidence that Neuvirth can stay healthy or that Stolie can run with the No. 1 job at this point when Neuvirth goes down.

I've lost or put away a lot of my hate for these teams. Pens are no question a lot less hateable than they were in 2012 with the douchebags they had on that team. But really, I find it hard to build up the hate when our own house is in disarray.
