On the bright side I'm going to love seeing the Leafs get ripped in the first round |

How poopty is it that this Nats pitcher might have hurt an oblique in a 17-3 game |

I think it is a shame what is going on between this team and Steve Mason.
If they go into next year with Neuvirth pegged as the starter mark my words, it is going to bite them square in the ass. - StepfordSam
I agree, I think they have made a mistake, he has been a warrior for them and really solidified their goaltending for the time he was here. Obviously something else was going on and maybe he was asking for too much money and if that is the case that is too bad. We need him more than Neuvirth as far as I am concerned |

Glad to see the end of this lousy season. Time to move on to the draft, the offseason and getting more kids into the lineup.

We will see how this plays out but I'm very skeptical that the Flyers plan is to go into next season with Neurvirth and Stolarz as their goalies. If this team is out of the playoffs again next year, I do feel Hextall is going to start feeling some heat. |

I literally cant understand the logic if there plan is to go into the season with Neuvy as a starter.
At best he is a backup, given his amazing ability to always get hurt.
If you arent going to go with someone like Bishop then I would much rather see Mason and Stolarz as your pair..

Agree 100%
Going with Neuvy as the starter with a rookie backup is a recipe for yet another year in the draft lottery.

It's very odd Neurvirth started almost ever game in February, signed a contract extension at the trade deadline and has only played 4 games since then. If their plan is to let him be the default starter next year, I believe he plays more than 4 games. |

Truthfully i'm very disappointed with it. I like Mason and I think Mason can backstop a winning team. While he may not be a top 5 guy, he is a solid goalie and has been good since here. I don't think they have always used him right. Maybe he wears down and can't do 70 games a season and can't do 4 in 6 but so what? that is why you have a solid backup. I would have at least kicked the tires to see what he wants to stay before signing Neuvirth. Unless signing Neuvirth was for Vegas I am not a fan of heading into next season with Neuvirth/Stolarz and esp not Neuvirth/veteran because i want to see Stolarz as the backup. seems like its time for him to graduate from the minors |
