Honest Question(s):

How different do you think this season would have been if Eichel played the whole year?

Or if the other major injuries didn't happen?

What if the injuries happened to Toronto, would they be in the same boat?

Not that I am trying to justify this season, but that could be a huge component to it.

no difference

team has pretty much same record with and w/o jack

when team was fully healthy, coming off of bye week, they came out flat

when jack, kane, and ror went down the gm made no moves for the short term, and looking back in hindsight, was meh

team needed a shakeup or a kick start even if it was going after a young 3rd liner with upside or a 5/6 d man with upside

not a dig on murray, he simply put the 2016-17 season on the remaining players in the system and they failed to play at playoff level

That's completely fair.

I can agree with the trust in players to step up was a huge gamble, and it obviously didn't pan out.

I hope you're right in that Dan is walking out the door on Monday with a whole summer (and possibly much longer) available to fish, golf, and do whatever else he likes to do.

There has needed to be a shake up (like Okposo going down with a serious illness which seemed to connect the room again) much earlier in the season.

Any thoughts on if Bodie will be resigned/given a look?

My friend who is a Rangers fan said he would never get a shot in New York because of the depth ahead of him.

Could he be a surprise for next year?

If auston matthews was injured for 21 games the leafs would be on the outside looking in right now.

If Eichel was healthy from day one we'd still be on the outside looking in, just a little closer.
